“Magali and Nicholas have been professionals in the barging industry for over 15 years.”
A recently converted six-passenger boat which will be cruising along the Burgundy canal between Escommes and Dijon in 2015.
Preserved is the original aspect of a cargo barge, with two upper decks. The first sundeck is waiting for sunbathers with inviting deck furniture and an outdoor kitchen, while the second deck is directly accessible from the corridor leading from the cabins and out to a hot tub.
Inside, a large skylight brings a great sense of open space and illuminates the 50 square-meter dining room. Further on, three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and including a single or double bedded suite, are just waiting to welcome guests in the very best conditions.
Magali and Nicholas have been professionals in the barging industry for over 15 years and have been working as tour guide and captain for many renowned companies such as Continentale de Croisières, European Waterways, French Country Waterways, Tango and Fandango, Saroche, and Prosperité.
This long experience with hotel barges has helped them convert their own barge into a welcoming luxury boat.
They will be proposing various cruises, going from half board three-day cruises to full board six-day cruises.
In between these, they also want to develop a new concept where the passengers take care of their own meals, either cooking on board in the fully equipped kitchen or going out to local restaurants, while the crew is in charge of the navigation.
